Our Story

The Peach House began in 2019 as intimate al fresco classes in a peach-colored house on Nickerson Street in Austin, Texas. Founded by Caitlin Fennessy, Peach House grew from a few reformers in her cozy living room to a light-filled reformer Pilates studio on South 1st. While many people initially sought out the studio for a killer workout, a good sweat, and her latest playlist, they discovered something more.

Caitlin welcomed everyone in building a heart-centered and authentic community that motivated people not only to move but to rediscover themselves and their strength along the way. Her effervescent personality and deep attention to love and self-care created a space where anyone could show up as they were and escape, if only for an hour. The goal was always to make people feel at home, not just in the warm hugs and cozy space but in the genuine connections formed through movement and community.

In December 2022, Caitlin tragically passed away. Suddenly, a heartbreaking tragedy that shook her community became a powerful force for continuing on what she had created. With her creative vision as a blueprint and her spirit an inspiration, her family and friends dedicated themselves to her mission. It became a way for those who had been on the receiving end of her unrelenting kindness and positivity to give back to her and the community she held so deeply, all while honoring the preciousness of life.

Today, we have expanded beyond Pilates to fulfill Caitlin’s dream of filling every room of her house with opportunities for people to take care of themselves. Sprinkled throughout the studio are pieces of Cait's home and treasures from her travels, which hold countless stories and create that sense of "coming home" that visitors often mention when they walk through our doors.

By visiting The Peach House, you become part of a story of resilience and dedication to deeper connection with yourself and those around you. Caitlin's spirit is a part of every corner of our space and in every person who continues her legacy. Whether you've been with us since the beginning or are stopping in for your first class, you're now part of our family, and we couldn't be more grateful to have you here.
